Snigdha Guha Receives American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS) Student Awards

Snigdha Guha, a PhD student in Food Science and Technology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has received two awards from the American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS). Snigdha was awarded 1st place for presenting,“Efficacy of Dietary γ-glutamyl Peptide in Modulating Vascular Inflammation” during the Health and Nutrition Division Student ePoster Pitch Competition and was a winner of the Graduate Student Oral Presentation, Protein and Co-Products division. Snigdha is part of NFHC member- Dr. Kaustav Majumder’s lab.

The AOCS Student Competitions allow student researchers an opportunity to highlight their achievements, demonstrate their ability in scientific presentations, and receive important feedback and mentoring from industry leaders.
