FHSS Presenter Donates Carbon Offsets in the Name of NFHC

            The Nebraska Food for Health Center has received special recognition from a company called Terrapass. Thanks to the generous donation by Dr. Dan Knights, 100,200 lbs of carbon offsets have been purchased in the name of the Nebraska Food for Health Center. These carbon offsets will be used to fund projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Nebraska Food for Health Center recently hosted visiting speaker, Dr. Dan Knights from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Knights presented, “Integrated dietary intake into microbiome studies,” as part of the fall 2019 Food for Health Seminar Series (FHSS).
